Steamed Tilapia
250 grams tilapia
2 pcs medium size tomato
1 medium size onion finely chopped
2 tbsps. of thinly sliced ginger
2 tbsps. finely chopped onion leaves
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. of rice wine
1 tsp. of sesame seed oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Celery for garnishing (and added flavor, too!)
Banana leaves
Mix together sliced tomato, onion, onion leaves and ginger. Add soy sauce, rice wine and sesame oil. Stuff two tbsps. of the mixture inside the tilapia. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and garnish with celery. Wrap in banana leaves and steam over briskly boiling water for 20 mins. Serve hot.
