Let me share with you my thoughts and feelings about my family life. At this moment, all I can think about is the reason for having this blogsite named "The Second Family". Well, it was meant to be a joke by a friend. People close to us already know where my husband works and with the demands of his job, you might be inclined to think we are only "second" in the list of his priorities. But I totally understand. There's no regular day off for him, and we're lucky enough to see him once a week (for less than 24 hours at that!). It's not unusual for me to complain, but deep in my heart, I am so totally supportive of him, even if it means standing as a single parent to our two girls.
I just felt that the stories behind my (and my husband-in-absentia) struggle to raise this wonderful gift of a family is worth writing, not only to share with those who will take the time to read, but also as a personal keepsake for my kids to read in the future. Pardon the very personal atmosphere here.
